Mix all the Marinade ingredients together in a glass bowl or jug and pour evenly over the chicken pieces.

Leave the chicken to marinate for as long as possible up to 12 hours if you can. Marinate for a minimum of two hours.

Place the marinated chicken on the barbecue ensuring you leave space between each drumstick. Cook on a medium hot grill for around twenty minutes or until piping hot and cooked all the way through.

If you’re not certain your chicken is thoroughly cooked prick the thickest part of the drumstick with a skewer: The chicken is cooked if the juices run clear. If the juices are still pink continue to cook and repeat the process until the juices run clear.

If the weather is bad you can of course cook these in your home oven. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.

Coat the chicken drumsticks evenly with the marinade and cook for around 50 minutes or until piping hot and cooked through. Test them the same way as for the barbecue recipe .

Check out our barbecue recipe for the very best homemade burgers

The post Barbecue Recipe – Sticky Chicken Drummers appeared first on Easy Home Cooking.

I know this is my own version of a recipe, but I honestly believe it really does take some beating!
